About me

I started this blog as a way to keep a record of our little family's happenings. As a mother to 3, I find that life has a tenancy to fly by in a whirlwind of nappies, laundry, to-do-lists, laughter, tears and tantrums. I have always enjoyed documenting life through the medium of photographs (perhaps sometimes excessively so) and journaling, but never thought to combine the two until recently. I have found that it has given me a greater motivation for deliberate parenting and general life goals.

I have been a primary school teacher for the last 4 years, and have taught from reception up to year 6. As someone who loves seeing inspirational ideas from other practitioners, I have decided to incorporate some of my own ideas and resources here .

This blog is a mixture of baby, toddler and KS1 activities, reviews,  recipes, DIY projects, crafts and general reflections on our day to day life. I love the way that motherhood has enabled me to incorporate my love of creativity in whole new ways.

In order to keep my children's identity anonymous, each time I refer to one of them its as Chick with the age they are at the time. So at the moment it'd be Chick 6, Chick 4, Chick 2

Please feel free to comment or share any posts. If you are another early years practitioner/teacher who has similar ideas or would like to link up please get in touch.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
